The following civilian-owned and operated warbirds participate in the Navy Legacy Flight program. These aircraft represent the Navy's living aviation history from WWII through Vietnam.

• Grumman F8F Bearcat
• Vought F4U Corsair
• North American FJ-4B Fury
• North American SNJ
• North American T-2 Buckeye
• North American T-28 Trojan
The US Navy's F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and F/A-18 Hornet flight teams perform at airshows across the country. Strike Fighter Squadron 122 (VFA-122), also known as the "Flying Eagles", are the west coast team and Strike Fighter Squadron 106 (VFA-106), also known as the "Gladiators", are the east coast team.
With the Legacy Flight Program, shows pair up the Super Hornets and fly in formation with classic warbirds like the F-4U Corsair and F6F Hellcat.
The US Navy approves a select group of civilian pilots to fly their warbirds in formation with the TACDEMO F-18's. 2019 qualified pilots are:
• Stuart Milson F4U, N-T28, DC-AD1, G-F6F, and H-FB-11
• Rich Sugden FJ4, T2, TA-4J, T-28
